Vision and Mission

The crux of the movement, the quest that permeated Sri Bhagavan’s entire existence since infancy was to set man totally and unconditionally free from all forms of suffering so that humanity could awaken to the state of unconditional love and joy that Sri Bhagavan himself was privy to. Although humans have explored the realms of pleasure and conditional happiness, the peace arising from awakening to Oneness in every aspect of life - be it with oneself, the other, nature or God - has remained ever elusive. To bestow the rarest of benedictions such that this experience of peace and oneness is a living reality not divorced from everyday living has been Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan’s vision and greatest contribution to humanity. The mission of the Avatars Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan is to bring about and sustain a great change and transition in human consciousness.

The roots – how it all started

It was in Satyaloka, Andhra Pradesh where the movement towards awakening first spread its wings in an obscure school called Jeevashram. Children from diverse backgrounds lived happily in this residential school in a state of innocence and wonder. They lived spontaneously in each moment, experiencing life deeply and wholeheartedly, for they lived with Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan. The descent of the Golden Ball catapulted the phenomenon to bewildering new heights of mysticism and transformative experiences. So much so that even those passing by could glimpse and experience this almost otherworldly splendour. As might be expected, reverence was their natural response to these experiences. Futile analysis was dismissed in favour of awe, gratitude and surrender. Sri Amma and Bhagavan were incarnations of the Cosmic Consciousness and there was no doubt in their minds about it.

How the phenomenon further grew and spread

The movement gained momentum and began to grow by leaps and bounds among the masses. People began to gather in small groups everywhere in India, sharing the vision of an awakened planet with Sri Amma Bhagavan. People became committed to their own personal transformation and to the creation of a new world order; one where love, peace, joy, acceptance and an in-depth acknowledgment of our inter-connectedness reigned over all else.

3) Natham - For Star Children
